Both pictures of our campsite at the grasslands Mesa near Decatur in November.
The spillway at Cleburne state park
Fort Richardson state park rally in January
Trying a coffin on for size. A bit too small, but I probably won't care when the time comes.
Shelly at our camp in Fort Richardson near Jacksboro in January. We had a great time, despite the weather. The wind died down at night, and the campfire felt great. It snowed a few minutes on Saturday, but we still took the tour of the fort. It was our first time in Jacksboro, and the state park.
Camping in Huntsville state park on our way home from Houston. We stopped at Harry and Debi Jean's place near Anderson on our way own to Houston. They have a beautiful ranch, where we spent Saturday night. They cooked a huge meal, and we were full after the appetizers, but didn't stop until we were gorged. We went to Connie and Johnny's place on Sunday, and went out to eat appetizers, and drink a beer while watching the boats. Another great way to spend a beautiful afternoon. After eating way too much for supper, we sat by a campfire, until we warmed up in the hot tub to top off the evening. On Monday we spent the day with Tyler, and ate at Schlotzsky's waiting for Ashlee to get home with the boys. We gave Parker his birthday present, and chased the boys around until I got too tired. We stopped in Huntsville state park and sat by a campfire.
Spending the afternoon at Indian Lodge with Tim and Barb, and Jim Nichols. Jim was giving lessons on how to make beer.
The moon over the 1963 Tradewind at Cleburne state park in February. We also went to a rally in Oklahoma at Winstar casino, but I forgot to take pictures. Not that it was scenic enough for pictures anyway. We finally finished working on the 1963 Airstream, and after trying it out at Cleburne state park, and Winstar, decided it was ready to sell. A couple from Arkansas bought it and camped that night. It is their first camper, and should last a lifetime.
Shelly camping at the grasslands in March. This is funny because she is not on her phone very often.
Wow, the time is flying by. In between all the rallies, and working on the Airstream, we have been keeping Makayla several nights a week. She has gone from not moving, to crawling, to walking, to running in just a few months. And talking, and talking! Another feast at the grasslands.
